Retired firefighter Marcelino Martinez and wife Ashley Martinez have long dreamed of opening a warm, family-friendly coffee shop. That dream is now a reality. Cup of Cozy, located on Albuquerque’s westside, is a welcoming spot for the community to gather. Marcelino started serving the community at 14, volunteering with Gallinas Fire Department, and went on to a 23-year firefighting career with Las Vegas and Bernalillo County Fire Departments. Ashley built a successful 20-year career in financial institutions. Together, their shared passion for coffee inspired this meaningful venture. Their coffee is sourced from Fire Department Coffee, which donates proceeds to firefighter mental health and peer support initiatives. Cup of Cozy lives up to its name, offering a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like home, enhanced by uplifting Christian music for relaxation and inspiration.

Our expertise extends to professional hat shaping and thorough cleaning, ensuring your hats always look their best. Looking to celebrate a special moment? Our venue is available for private events of any kind. For a more intimate gathering, we also offer a cozy private room, available by reservation during regular business hours. To top it off, we love bringing people together through live music performances and worship nights, fostering a warm and welcoming space where the community can relax, connect, and enjoy meaningful moments.
